As required by Executive Order N-56-20, the UCSC Board has approved the COVID-19 Operations Written Report that details the changes to our program offerings that have been made to address the COVID-19 emergency and the impacts of school closure on scholars and families.
The State of California has deemed it safe and allowed schools to physically open. As such, the California Department of Education has developed a school re-opening guide that is consistent with the recommendations of the California Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control. This guide was made available on June 2, 2020 and can be found here.
YPSA has established a School Re-Opening Committee comprised of staff and parent members. The School Re-Opening Committee has been meeting and working on plans to support the re-opening of YPSA.
As we prepare to re-open our campus for the 2020-2021 school year, we need your feedback to help us plan our educational program to support the needs of our scholars and families. Please take 2-3 minutes to answer the following survey questions; your input is important and will help the committee to create an educational program that will take into consideration the health, safety, and academic well-being of all our scholars.
We have 20 open spots available for Kindergarten. If interested, please email Abby Massey at
